For any type of excursion or expedition it is alway prudent to carry some sort of First Aid Kit, as you never know when accidents may occur and first aid be necessary. Care Plus provides a wide range of first aid kits from the very basic to the extensive family and adventurer sets. Each kit contains various medical and first aid supplies but also has room for you to add extra. When travelling, healthcare facilities in the country of destination are often not up to the standard of those at home, and this can increase the risk of infectious diseases such as AIDS and hepatitis B. It is therefore sometimes sensible to take an extensive set of sterile equipment with you in addition to a first aid kit. All Care Plus First Aid Kits were put together by GP and experienced expedition doctor Dr. R Hulsebosch and every set (with the exception of the basic set) contains a multi-lingual Care Plus First Aid Guide in which Dr. Hulsebosch passes on a lot of his experience of dealing with common accidents. Please note : if you intend to travel by air it will generally not be possible for you to carry these sets as hand luggage as they contain sharp objects (needles, scalpels etc). Please consult your air travel company for any clarification on this issue.
